Okay: Enough self-pity! I'm actually handling the death of my computer better these days. I mean: yeah, it's a loss, but even though my work is gone, the source of my work is not going away, unless I have amnesia. So it's not too bad...And my last journal was getting annoying to me^_^


1. Twitter
So my loyal friends, I finally broke down and got a twitter account. If you have one, I'm twitter.com/hannahviera (what else?)

2. $5 May
Also May is $5 month. This is the only month of the year I will do sketches for 5 bucks. I have limited space, so that's why I'm advertising now. I hope I won't have to turn anyone down, but I'm sure it'll be great and that won't happen.

3. Alberta Street
Portland artists, go check out the Talisman Gallery on Alberta Street until the last Thursday of the month. There's an entire watercolor comic book framed and displayed on the walls. It'll be fun!

4. Feeling bloggy....
I'm working as a secretary at a crating company to make end's meet, and doing design work for them as well. All the website work thus far is toast, but I'm sure I'll get it back up and running before June. In the meantime I have writer's block where the comic is concerned, so I've been skipping several comics ahead and storyboarding future adventures. Maybe this will help my block. Also I discovered two not so new comics I love: The Runaways, and the off-color Next Wave (I like the graphic design and the abrupt changes of dialogue more than the actual pencil work or color). Still teaching children and practicing guitar, and starting a new diet (XXX). Yeah, my life is boring, but I'm starting to develop a rhythm, which is something I haven't had since before college, since I change my pace constantly. I may actually start getting work done now!
